Our Donations Partners

At House of J, we believe giving back starts right here at home.

Whenever possible, usable items from our projects are donated locally to churches and nonprofit outreach organizations that support individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

We also actively share items with friends and neighborhood groups and Buy Nothing communities, keeping useful goods out of landfills and in the hands of people who can truly use them. Supporting local networks allows us to create real, immediate impact—strengthening our community one household at a time.

Goodwill

Multiple locations across PA & NJ

Most people know Goodwill as the place to donate unwanted items or to shop for treasures. But our core mission is really about changing lives. As a nonprofit, community-based leader, Goodwill provides education, job training and career services that help individuals faced with barriers to become competitively employed. Goodwill is about giving a hand up, not a hand out. We believe everybody should have the opportunity to achieve independence through the power of work, no matter what barrier one might be facing.
